‘Unusual Weapons’ Used in Fallujah

BAGHDAD — The U.S. military has used poison gas and other non-conventional weapons against civilians in Fallujah, eyewitnesses report.

”Poisonous gases have been used in Fallujah,” 35-year-old trader from Fallujah Abu Hammad told IPS. ”They used everything — tanks, artillery, infantry, poison gas. Fallujah has been bombed to the ground.”

Health Care Given A ‘New Look’

BAGHDAD — The Baghdad Medical City has begun to look nice in its new coat of paint.

It does not look that nice to Dr Hammad Hussein, ophthalmology resident at the centre. ”I have not seen anything which indicates any rebuilding aside from our new pink and blue colours here where our building and the escape ladders were painted,” he told IPS.
